Five Fold
Leadership
As established in Ephesians 4, Arise Birmingham is built on Jesus Christ and stewarded by a leadership team that governs and empowers according to their ministry gift and commissioning in the body of Christ. The five fold leadership team also serves as the elders of the church who prioritize glorifying Jesus and centering everything we do around the presence of God.
Apostle

They are strong leaders who love to awaken people to their dreams, challenge them to reach their potential, and empower them to fulfill their destiny. They align the church with the culture of heaven, advance the agenda of heaven into new realms of influence, and activate momentum for believers to take new ground for the kingdom.
Prophet

They love to edify the church by speaking words that reveal God’s true heart for people and helping them to rise into the belief of who they are. They have a distinct sense of justice and are passionate defenders of right and wrong. They see the path ahead and reveal spiritual strategies of breakthrough to advance victoriously, avoiding any traps or dangers along the way.
Evangelist

They are positive encouragers of people and celebrators of God’s goodness. They inspire people to boldly share the story of Jesus and their testimonies of God’s goodness with the world. They desire to demonstrate the miraculous power of the gospel to the lost and see them encounter the love Jesus has for them as an individual.
Pastor

They are compassionate physicians of the soul who encourage people to embrace the process of moving from brokenness to wholeness. They are passionate about helping people belong and love creating safe environments for people to heal. They are fierce protectors of people from any influence that would harm them.
Teacher

They unfold the mysteries of who God is in a way that is easy for people to access and understand. They love to understand people in a way that makes them feel known and to help them grow into who they were created to be. They are guides on the journey of discovery and maturity. They have a deep desire to bring understanding and balance into every situation.
