God: His Person, His Plan, & His Kingdom
-
We believe there is only one God who is the Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe God is unmatched in holiness, extravagant in mercy, perfect in justice, unrivaled in power, and driven by unfailing, immeasurable, extraordinary love.
We believe God created all humankind in His image to know Him, to have a relationship with Him, and to have dominion over the earth. Adam and Eve willfully rejected God’s plan for humanity and the glory for which we were intended. Because of this free choice, humankind invited sin and its consequences—sickness, death, and judgment — to enter the world, and now, all creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin. (Gen. 1:26-30, 3:6-9, 17-24; Rom. 5:12, 6:23, 8:18-21)
We believe God, in His great love, chose to send His Son into the world to become one of us, born of the Spirit of God and a woman—Mary—who was a virgin. This Son of God and Son of Man was named Jesus. He was sent to pay the price to redeem humanity from the curse of sin. (Jn. 3:16; 1 Jn. 4:9-10; Lk. 1:26-38; Matt. 1:18-23, 16:15-17; Rom. 5:8; Gal. 3:13; Col. 2:13-15; Is. 53:5)
-
We believe Jesus, Son of God, was sent by His Father to reveal God’s love for all humanity and make it possible for reconciliation with God. (Jn. 3:16; 1 Jn. 4:9-10; Rom. 5:10; Col. 1:19-20; 2 Cor. 5:18-21)
We believe Jesus faced every temptation of sin, every weakness of humanity, and conquered it. Thus, He became the perfect sacrifice required to pay the price for the sins of the whole world. (Heb. 4:15, 10:5-14; Matt. 4:1-11; Is. 53:3-4; Phil. 2:5-8; 1 Jn. 2:2)
We believe Jesus willingly took the judgment and consequences of our sin—which was death—upon Himself and defeated death. He was resurrected, fully alive, and is now seated victoriously at His Father’s side. (Is. 53:6; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 2:9-15; 1 Cor. 15:55-57; Eph. 1:17-23; Eph. 2:4-7; Heb. 12:2)
We believe the sacrifice of Jesus, Son of God, makes it possible for all humankind to be reconciled to a relationship with God and restored to the glory for which He intended us. This salvation is offered freely to all who are willing to believe and receive His great gift of love and forgiveness. It cannot be achieved. It must be received by faith. (2 Cor. 5:18-19; Col. 1:21-22; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:9-10; Jn. 1:12; 1 Jn. 1:9)
We believe all humankind will either experience eternal life with God in heaven or eternal separation from Him in hell. This will be determined by our free choice, established by God from the beginning of creation, to either receive His free gift of forgiveness, offered through Jesus, or reject it. (Matt. 25:46; Jn. 3:16, 1:12; Rev. 20:15; Rom. 10:9-10, 6:23; Acts 4:12)
-
We believe everyone who has received the amazing gift of forgiveness for sins and reconciliation to God available through Jesus becomes a new creation, is adopted as a son or daughter of God, and is given the gift of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live in victory over sin and its consequences. (Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:20-22; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 8:1-2, 11, 15-17; Gal. 4:3-7, 5:16; Acts 1:8; 2:38)
We believe the Holy Spirit is the power of God within us to restore divine order in us as a new creation, transforming us back into His image with ever-increasing glory—the glory He intended for us in creation. (2 Cor. 3:17-18; Jn. 17:22-24; Heb. 2:6-11)
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire (Matt. 3:11) is a complete immersion in the power and presence of God intended to equip us to more fully operate in the gifts of the Spirit for the purpose of revealing His heart, speaking His message, and demonstrating His power to the world (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-41, 1 Cor. 2:4-5; 1 Cor. 13)
-
We believe God revealed His entire plan for our redemption in the Bible—which was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is without error, and is the final authority on which we base our faith. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pt. 1:20-21; Ps. 12:6, 19:7-10; Prov. 30:5; Is. 40:8; Matt. 24:35; Jn. 17:17)
We believe the Bible is the Word of God and the baseline for interpreting Scripture is that it must align with what it reveals about God’s character.
We believe the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is intended, with the Holy Spirit, to transform us through conviction, revelation, teaching, correction, and instruction in righteousness. It is not a tool for the purpose of affirming our preconceived beliefs. (Heb. 4:12-13; 2 Tim. 3:16)
-
We believe that during His ministry on the earth, Jesus announced and demonstrated the presence of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is not a physical kingdom, but a present spiritual authority to live in the desires of God has for us both here on earth and in heaven. (Mk. 1:15; Matt. 6:10; 10:7-8, 12:28; Lk. 17:20-21; Jn. 18:36; Rom. 14:17; Col. 1:10-14)
We believe the Kingdom of God is characterized by Freedom, Healing, Peace, and Abundant Life (Matt. 10:7 8, 4:23; 2 Cor. 3:17-18; Jn. 8:36, 10:10; Gal. 5:1; Rom. 16:20; Is. 53:5; 1 Pt. 2:24; Eph. 3:18-21). Those who choose to receive Jesus have been given authority to minister as Jesus did, proclaiming and demonstrating this kingdom in the love of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Lk. 9:1-2; Matt. 28:18-20; Jn. 14:12, 13:34-35; Acts 1:8)

We believe in and have implemented a Fivefold gift leadership model: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. These are the gifts of Jesus to equip the saints, bring unity to the faith, provide knowledge of the Son of God, and become mature in the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13). We recognize the legitimacy of other leadership models in the church and do not intend to claim that this leadership model or how it is implemented here is the only way.
We believe church leaders should serve in powerful (not false) humility, lead by example and with integrity, be accountable to the righteous standards of the Word of God, exalt the name of Jesus over their own, and above all, demonstrate the love of God. (1 Pt. 5:2-3; Mk. 10:43-45; Jn. 13:1-17; Phil. 2:5-11; 1 Cor, 13)
We believe in a victorious church that the blood of Jesus has made a radiant and spotless bride. His kingdom is advancing on the earth, not diminishing. Therefore, it is the responsibility of His church to be a courageous voice of truth with radical obedience to the Spirit of God, relentless in our pursuit to seek and save those who are lost and enforce His victory over the powers and authorities of darkness that produce chaos on the earth. (Matt. 16:15-19; Eph. 1:17-23; Col. 1:12-22, 2:13-15; Heb. 12:22-24; Jude 24-25; Rev. 1:5-6, 5:9-10)
Cultural Issues
-
We believe that the Church has a responsibility to present every person with the full measure of the victory Jesus won for them at the cross. We believe the value heaven holds for every person is so great that we are worthy of the costly price paid on our behalf with the blood of Jesus. People are too precious to the heart of God for the Church to allow fear and compromise to prevent us from addressing the complex problems of our time and influencing the culture of our world with truth that brings real freedom.
We welcome everyone to come just as you are, but we will love you enough to encourage you in your journey to wholeness and value you enough to empower you to walk in the victory Jesus laid down His life to make available to you.

We believe that all human life is sacred, is created in the image of God, and is of great worth to Him. (Gen. 1:27-31; Ps. 139:1516)
We believe that life begins with conception and is fearfully and wonderfully made. (Ps. 139:13-14)
We believe that God is the Author of life and that every life has great purpose (Gen. 2:7; Jer. 1:5); therefore, we stand against any act that devalues or destroys this divine gift, trusting in God’s sovereign authority over life and death.
We believe that God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Prov. 6:16-17), but in His great love and mercy, He offers forgiveness to those who belong to Him. (Ps. 106:36-45)
We believe that the Word of God instructs us to protect and care for those who are vulnerable. This includes the unborn and the women who carry them.
We believe that the agenda of abortion is a demonic attack on the next generation of powerful men and women of God, as demonstrated in the attack on babies when both Moses and Jesus were born. (Ex. 1:15-2:10; Matt. 1:16-18)
We believe that the agenda of abortion is a demonic attack on women who were created with the divine honor and purpose of bringing life into the world. Women who are sold the abortion lie deal with years of trauma that the agenda does not prepare them for, nor does it provide for them afterwards. Thankfully, God receives, loves, protects, empowers, and forgives all women. When the demonic lie is unveiled, He is there to redeem, protect, and restore.
We believe that the agenda of abortion is a demonic attack on men, absolving them from their God-given design to lead, protect, and provide.
We believe that “my body, my choice” is a demonic statement of self-worship that stands opposed to the declaration of Jesus: “This is my body broken for you.” (Luke 22:19)
-
We believe God designed marriage to be a sacred union between one man and one woman (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4-6).
We believe that sexual intimacy is a gift from God and is designed for the covenant of marriage (Heb. 13:4). The purity of love required for this covenant is demonstrated by the relationship between Christ and His Church (Eph. 5:22-33).
We believe that our bodies are holy temples for the presence of the Spirit of God and are not our own (1 Cor. 6:18-20); therefore, they should be treated with honor, respect, and purity. Any sexual act outside of the marriage covenant, including with online sexual partners, is contrary to God’s design and superior purpose for our lives (1 Thess. 4:3-8; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:1-3; Col. 3:1-10; Prov. 6:32).
We believe the sacrifice of Jesus provides the power for us to live in freedom from the sexual addiction that is promoted by the world. Consuming pornography undermines God’s divine design for sexual intimacy, fosters sexual addiction, leads to broken relationships, and contributes to the human trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and children. We believe God designed men to be powerful protectors. God gave us divine power to demolish strongholds in our minds that oppose the knowledge of Him and make us feel powerless to overcome. The peace of God stands ready to guard our minds and focus our thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. (2 Cor. 10:2-5; Phil. 4:7-8)
We believe that since God designed marriage to be between a man and a woman and because He designed sexual intimacy for the covenant of marriage, all sexual acts between individuals of the same sex are a sin and opposed to God’s design (Rom. 1:21-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-11). The lie that offers everyone the freedom to love whomever and however they want is a form of self-worship and a contemptible counterfeit to the freedom offered to us by the sacrifice of Jesus, the true love given to us by God the Father, and the power available to us through the Holy Spirit. It is a lie that attempts to devalue love and steal the greater worth given to you by God.

We believe that God, in His infinite wisdom and love, created humanity in His image, male and female (Gen. 1:27); therefore, there are only two genders: male and female (Matt. 19:4). This is also evidenced by the design of our DNA that is encoded with XX (female) and XY (male) chromosomes that determine our biological sex.
We believe every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps. 139:14). God’s design for sexual identity is intentional and reflects His divine purpose for each person’s life. Therefore, attempts to transition from one gender to another are in opposition to God’s design and purpose.
We believe that all humanity is affected by the brokenness of sin in the world (Rom. 3:23) and the deception of spiritual forces of evil that attempt to destroy and steal our God-given destiny (Jn. 10:10; Eph. 6:12; 1 Pt. 5:8). This can lead to confusion, pain, and struggle. God’s plan, through the sacrifice of Jesus, offers the power of redemption from sin, bringing healing and restoration from its effects and freedom from its lies (Jn. 3:16; Rom. 5:8; 1 Pt. 2:24; Is. 61:1; Lk. 4:18-19; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Col. 2:13-15).
We believe that God has given us the power of His Holy Spirit, made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus, to provide us with truth, guidance, and the power to live in alignment with His design and purpose for us. (Acts 2:38; Jn. 14:26, 16:13; Eph. 2:10; 2 Tim. 1:7; Phil. 2:13; Rom. 12:2; 2 Pt. 1:3-4)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the actions of Jesus, and the Word of God reveal the true nature of God’s love, which surpasses all other notions of love and exposes the empty promises of self-serving definitions of love. (Rom. 5:5; Titus 3:3-7; Rom. 5:8; Eph. 3:17-19, 5:2; 1 Jn. 3:1-2, 4:7-18, 5:3-6; 1 Cor. 13)
